The ‘top secret’ spy puzzle clues are editable but the ‘secret messages’ are NOT predetermined. This product is NOT an actual puzzle to solve or decode. You’ll have to add your own ‘clues’ first. Simply highlight the preset text and type your own secret message. Your message will automatically be encrypted to match the corresponding code in FOUR of the puzzles. The remaining three puzzles will require a little work on your behalf because they are numerical puzzle clues. EASY directions are provided!
How you use these spy party puzzles is up to you. Use all of them at once, repeat puzzles or do just a few at a time. Easily edit your clues in Canva.

What software do I need to edit the puzzles?

How do I edit or personalize the clues?
Simply open the clue templates in your Canva account and highlight the sample text, then just type over it with your own clues. Fonts that can be automatically encrypted are already embedded in the files.
How can I access Canva?
You can access Canva on your desktop or use the Canva for Mobile App to design on the go. Available for iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and tablets.
Can I edit ALL parts of the template such as graphics or fonts?
No, not ALL of the parts…just the parts where you add your own clue or code. You CAN edit the size and color of the pre-set font. You can also edit the background so if you want to add a picture of a person, you can. Please note the decoders and some fonts can NOT be edited and are secured.
Can I convert my template into a PDF?
You sure can and Canva makes it super easy to download as a PDF, JPEG or PNG. Once you download your PDF you can print your puzzles for your kids to start their code-breaking adventure.
How are the templates set up?
The top half of the page has the DECODER and is NOT editable. The bottom half of the page includes prewritten text that you can type over to enter your very own secret message.
Why did you choose Canva when other sellers use Adobe Reader?
With Canva, there are a lot of personalized touches you can add. You can change the background, change the color of the clue font, change the puzzle number, add images, and resize
the clue font. In Adobe –you have NO options. Adobe does not allow you to change the font size, color or background.
Is Canva easy to use?
Super simple to use! It’s not like photoshop or Illustrator with layers and confusion. Included in your purchase is a “How to use Canva Guide” (just in case you are not familiar with the
platform).
